Jo Grubman is a former paramedic and specialist in tissue and organ procurement for transplant.

With an intimate knowledge of anatomy and a familiarity with death, art became essential as a therapeutic outlet in navigating the stress of an unforgiving workplace consisting of unpredictable scheduling, sterile operating rooms, and dark morgues.

Now, art is the focus.

Located on a rural New Hampshire farm built in 1800, the art reflects its surroundings as well as the artist's past.
